Tonsils removed need help!? |
I had my tonsils and adenoids removed last Monday 7/9/07. My graduation party is this Saturday 7/21/07. I am 22 years old Should I be able to drink alcohol by then without problems and eat food. It will be thirteen days. I still have white stuff in the back of my throat. Any good answers will be very appreciative. Go easy. I had mine out a week before you did. I had Watermelon Boones last weekend so you probably could. It burned a little. I would wait to see how you are feeling the day before. You can eat soft foods, but stay away from spices for another week, you will be thankful you did. I am still a little sore, but I stopped taking my drugs on Wednesday last week. Are you done with your meds yet? How are you feeling now? Email if you want to answer or have any questions. I did drink on Friday and Saturday beer of couirse and I was fine. My tonsils are still sore but it is not bat at all. It is really easy to bare the pain. Thanks for the advice. Spices kill me too but it is facts. I still have white stuff on my tonsils. Good luck!! :) you should really ask your doctor about that, cuz the standard healing time is about 3 weeks. I had mine out a few years ago and it took about that long for me to even feel better. Ask your doctor or a nurse.. I was told my Tonsils wouldnt be healed until all the white stuff had been slouched away so I gather your arestill healing.. |
