I do not know what else to do? |
My three year old has always had allergy problems, and when I say "allergy" prob. it's because he tends to get the Itchy kind, and sometimes it gets so bad that he gets desperated and we do not know what else to give him or put on him.He is scheduled for surgery on Tues. to get ear tubes and have his adenoids removed, which has nothing to do with his itching I would say, but for the past two days, it's been nothing but itching all over him and he is really starting to breakout, with little goosebumps around his back, arms, legs, and throat.I am giving him steroid medicine sent by his doctor, and now applying some strong analgestic lotion, but his breaking out is what worries me. What do you advice or suggest? I once knew a woman, whose son had something like you describe. In her case her son had some sort of skin problem. I don't know the name. But she constantly had to put lotion on the child. He would get so bad like if he were raw. She lived in a very cold climate. She once told me that at one time she had lived in the tropics. While living there the child's skin problem cured but once she lives in cold weather, it comes back full blast. Her son it seems cold climate dries his skin severely. In you son's case I don't know what it can be. But I have noticed that in winter time I have to use more lotion. My skin feels sort of dry and itchy. Just a guess he may just have a bad case of dry skin. He is under a doctor's care. He has prescription medication for his skin condition. If you have further questions, concerns, or the medication is not effective, return to the dermatologist. well take your three year old to the docter so they can check him and see what going on write me back my yahoo is anguiz_zhana yahoo.com |
