What should I eat after surgery...??

I am getting tonsils out and adenoids out and having my deviated septum fixed. It was recommended soft and cold foods. any ideas??

Jello, sherbet or ice cream, popsickles, applesauce, juices

Don't forget yogurt.

Can't add to the food list already given, I agree with it. But, I want to add that you need to drink a lot of fluids. Your bowel process slows down when you have anesthesia and you need to get it moving again. Try to drink lots of water if you can tolerate it. You will probably have an IV to help keep you hydrated, but you will likely not be in the hospital very long so you need to continue to force fluids when you get home. Good luck.
