Edenoids problem?

My 5 yrs old son got adenoids problem. is it a must to go operation to clear it ?? or there is medicine to cure it with out operation ??? thnks nd brgds

The adenoids are actually tonsil tissue that we can live without. Once it becomes infected, antibiotics usually will NOT work to clear it up. Have them removed. It is a short day surgery, and your son will stay well.

Adnoids is a very simple operation you can't 'cure' it through medicine. He will be able to breathe better and isn't that something you would want for your child?

I would recommend allergy testing, and possibly a cat scan before you go through with surgery for him. Although the problem may be adenoids, allergies could also play into his breathing problems.
