I am having issues breathing/and struggling to be happy with the appearance of my nose. Advice please?

Five years ago I had an operation to remove my adenoids. The operation seemed to help at the time as I could breathe more easily. Now I am finding a few issues with my nose/breathing which are getting increasingly worse. I am struggling to take in enough oxygen when breathing through my nose, so I tend to breathe through my mouth.
My doctor referred me to an Asthma nurse a few years ago when the breathing problems were more prominent. She suspected I had Asthma and I was provided with a brown and blue inhaler. When this did not help me they gave me a disk inhaler. This does not help me either, so I simply chose to give it time to see if it would improve. Now I am considering consulting my doctor again about this, and another subject.
Ever since my adenoids were removed I have been left with an obvious bump on my nose bridge. I have been thinking about surgery to remove the bump for a few years now. I am unsure on whether to just be happy with myself, or go further. Please help :).
