Toddler adenoids removed?

My two-year is scheduled to have her adenoids removed on the 4th of December and I am so nervous. Her nose has been running ever since she started daycare last year and her nose is constantly plug and has a hard time breathing at night. So I wanted to know if any of your young children have had their adenoids removerd and if so how was the outcome? How was recovery like and how are they doing now? Thanks!!

Yeah, got a few toddler patients who had their enlarged adenoids removed coz they snore loudly and had difficulty breathing. They we're as energetic as they were a day after the procedure.

It's really no big deal and it's a short operation. She will be medicated for pain.
Don't worry, Mom.

you are such a caring concerned mother and am proud of you. ask your doctor about previous patients and remember to think things positively and remember every human being is different from the next one. if your child finds that hope of survival from those eyes of yours, they will pull through. love and faith in recovery.good luck.(too much worry can confuse kids and cause panic
