Has Anyone Had Adenoids Out & Grommets in? |
If so, how did you feel after? Are you sore? Bleeding? How long to get back to normal? My daughter had her adenoids out and grommets in about 5 years ago. She was a bit sore for a couple of days but was back to normal really quickly. She had quite a lot of discharge from her ears. She was also not used to noises and it took her quite a while to get used to normal sounds which appeared to be really loud to her. I had my tonsil and adenoids out, and I also had grommits put in my ears when I was about 6/7. I never had any problems. The only discomfort I remember being in was having a sore throat for days (as a result of the removal of tonsils). I don't remember ever having any pain or discomfort from the grommits or adenoids. I had my adenoids out when I was about 4. I still remember waking up in a hospital cot with blood everywhere. Yes, it bleeds a lot. But I don't remember being sore or having any problems. thank you for your answer on my question i just want to wish your son all the luck in the world, |
