Getting your adenoids removed??? |
i have to get my adenoids removes and i was wondering if they put you to sllep and if it hurts after the the surgery...like does it hurt to eat or breath or do you feel pain where they used to be? i've heard of lots of people getting them removed when they were younger like 2 or 4 and im not lol so does that make a diffrence? The adenoids can be vaporized with minimal tissue damage. You WILL feel discomfort for a while. I would hope that you undergo general anesthesis for this procedure as it is the standard of care. As long as you are going in for the adenoids, why not take the tonsils if they get infected more than 3 times per year? Save yourself some time, aggravation and money. Isnt an andenoid on Halo II? you will be fine, I had mine removed last year and it was horrible. I couldnt talk or swallow so I had to constantly spit in a cup. I couldnt eat or drink so I got dehydrated and ended up back in the hospital. I just had my removed a week ago it hurt a little your neck will hurt like you laying the wrong way and you will need lots of massages so get ready .yes they put you to sleep. Dont know if they put u 2 sleep these days as they did when I was younger, but it does hurt for a while but u can eat ice cream until it runs out of ur ears. i dnt think it should hurt alot but 2 tell the truth it will only hurt abit dw i have the same problem im getting my tonsils removed =( nd im scared 2 but its k 2 get scared i guess |
