Blood tinged mucus after adenoidectomy? |
I had an adenoidectomy 2 and a half months ago. At first I had a bit of blood for the first couple weeks. Ever since, I've been having blood tinged mucus here and there when I "hock up" from my sinuses. Is this normal to have a little bit of blood still? yes if it's just tinged with blood and not actually bleeding other wise......it sounds like you are hacking so hard it is causing a small broken blood vessel. You have cats that you are allergic to?Sorry there's no answer to that! go to the er m friend had to same prob and she had an alser right after she had the same thing done It probably is normal, though I don't really know. The area where the surgery was done is probably still tender and I'm sure the allergies don't help the situation. |
