Tonsillectomy / Adenoidectomy?

If I have to have a Tonsillectomy / Adenoidectomy can my doctor do it by laser?? What is the est. recovery time?

No, they cannot yet do this surgery by laser.

The recovery time is actually a full 2 weeks.

FYI: Depending on your age, you may not have adenoids. The tonsils and adenoids are both supposed to shrink with age. After age 12 it is very rare to see adenoids on someone. Unfortunately, with the location of the tonsils, for some shrinkage doesn't happen.

Just a warning, when you get to day 4... the pain really begins.
