If I already have hypothyroidism, Addison's disease, Raynaud's disease and vitiligo will I get diabetes also?

If I already have hypothyroidism, Addison's disease, Raynaud's disease and vitiligo will I get diabetes also?

You are certainly more at risk of getting diabetes. Hypothyroidism is a glandular thing, as is Addisons and diabetes is too. If you get one of them you are more at risk of developing others.

Apparently if you have vitiligo you are also more at risk of getting diabetes, hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism but I don't know what the link is from what I have quickly just read. See the web link below for details on vitiligio.

I think Raynauds is not linked.

I have diabetes and hypothyroidism by the way - but you can keep anything else to yourself, I don't want them.

God, I hope not. You have enough going on. Good luck ~~

too many big words for me to understand it.... also type 1 or type 2 diabetes?

I'd give it up now if I was you

Why not, one more won't make a difference....

No My suggestion would be to stop focusing on what you have had and start changing your attitude to positive thinking. You become what you think about so how about concentrating on being healthy. Good luck to you, you can do it.

.Try not to be so optimistic.

you never know what might come next when you have Autoimmune disease. That is just a few and you can not sit and worry about what might happen in the future as it may never happen and you have waisted time worried about it for no reason. Learn to live life to your fullest and be happy for each day. As bad as it seems believe me someone else is worse than you. I have seen it my self. I have had many Autoimmune diseases for a long time.
