What are some interesting facts about addison's disease?

It is essentially an autoimmune disease that affects the adrenal glands. It causes a decrease in the production of a few different hormones (cortisol and DHEA). Symptoms include weakness, fatigue, low blood pressure and skin hyperpigmentation. With treatment the prognosis is usually pretty good these days.
