What do you do first when you are not feeling well?

When you are not feeling well, do you choose alternative medicine/therapy first or an allopathic (visit a doctor) approach first?

If alternative which do you go for first?
herbs
homeopathy
naturopathic doctor
acupuncture
massage
ayurvedic
tibb
hypnosis
EFT
reflexology
reiki
neuro-linguistic programming
colon hydrotherapy
etc.

And if allopathic?

aspirin
other pills
doctor
etc.

It depends - for stuffiness or symptoms for cold or allergies - I have a bottle of liquid echinacea/goldenseal on hand. You drink it like a tea. I had a professor advise it to me once when I had a mean cold and no health insurance - If you follow the directions - It works like a charm - feeling great after 3 days.
For headaches or sore joints - I B Profen.
Take a multi - Vitamin daily - Your immune system will boot!!

Other than that - the human touch/contact is highly underrated - you would be surprised at how well you feel if you got a massage once a week for a month - or did a little reiki. There are multiple ways of healing and we are all unique - what works for me might not work for you - but at least you are trying to find your own way!
