I am 18 and I get hot flashes constantly!!! HELP!? |
I started getting heat flashes for atleast a year. I thought it was normal.. turns out it isnt. does any one know what it is? I know its not metopause. I know i'm not pregnant and I have done many acupuncture treatments to make it stop, but it has not been successful. any advice? i do not drink caffeine, i dont eat at denny's or any fast food places, and i have also been tested for a thyroid problem. go see your doctor.. what you are describing sounds a lot like hyperthyroidism.. i am 19 and i have been getting the same thing, i become REALLY hot all of a sudden and they after a while it goes away.like just now i was REALLY hot for about 10 minutes and its gone.its gets really annoying.any advice for me or anyone else.please help! you need to see your dr, so he can diagnose what it is. As a healthcare provider I would do a standard battery of blood tests on you...particularly thyroid tests. Already? My wife is 50 and Hers started a couple years ago. Are you sensitive to caffeine? I get hot flashes if I drink something that has caffeine in it. |
