Can anyone tell me if there is a homopathic remedy for dyspraxia? |
My friend's son was just diagnosed with dyspraxia and she is looking for anything homeopathic - reiki, acupuncture, herbs, tea, etc. that could help. Any other suggestions are very welcome also. Here is what I know what we have learned with almost any development issue.. Global delay, autisim, dyspraxia. etc.. You need to be willing to understand there is no one size fits all for everyone. There is no cure in any form of medicine that always works 100% each person is different, so is the treatment. Very rarely if ever will you find one person who will give you all the right answers. Normally they are found by taking bits and pieces from everywhere. Do not take any one person as the gold standard. Research evaluate and question, all meds, techniques, and therapies. Learn LEARN LEARN!! Nobody will be able to tell your friend more about her child than she already knows. They may be able to just find the most effective roads, and maybe a few shortcuts. It will take work no matter what she does. Nothing will work except a lot of hard work. She must become the therapist, the everyone. She needs for people to teach her so she can help her son when they are not there. She will see him daily, them maybe 2-3 hrs aweek. There is no way they can do more than her personal dedication. My friends son. Who is now 5, he still falls a lot, has some visual problems, and barely talks if at all. But they discovered he can read. Because of her talking and reading to him he can read. and more than that, she caught him writting his name, love, home, dog on his magna doodle. He's there, it is just taking longer for the outside to let him show it. She needs to call therapist, doctors, natual doctors, everyone, etc... and sometimes in the place you least expect it. You might find the one person who is right for your friends family to help her, help her son. But it will take years, patience, laughter, tears, and most of all dillagence, and love. And listening questions and not taking good enough as an answer. I don't know if this is what you need but it is what we have had to do. Look around your area. For people who do neurofeed back, natural med specializing in disabilities, behavior modification people who are willing to help you learn how to help. And a really good councelor who your can help your friend when she feels like she can't do it anymore. My son has dyspraxia and I am sorry to tell you that there are no homeopathic remedies that I know of. |
