Sleep!!! insomnia!!!? |
so i've been having sleep issues since well forever!. i changed my bed for teh whole fung shwai. i've been doing acupuncture for months. i've been taking nyquil for the past months! tried ambian.. i've done all the herbal teas ..all i want to do is sleep!!!! any advice? i cant pull another all nighter! the bags on my eyes are getting biiger n bigger!! whisky....loads of it I also suffer from insomnia. I went to see my doctor recently and told her that I was taking to sleeping pills per night, just the over the counter ones. She said that is fine and that it won't hurt my body. She mentioned it was the same thing as Benodryl. She did mention exercise in the morning or afternoon, have you tried that? try to discover the reason, what keeps you from sleeping? Maybe you should try going to a sleep therapist, they could help you out. Get any textbook from a college bookstore and try to read it all the way through. Trust me that will work if you really try it. Try European history from 1200-1900. Between all of the Henrys, Edwards, Bolsheviks, Tudors, you'll be snoring in no time. When I am having trouble sleeping I take a couple of melatonin pills(not something you should do every night, but it helps to get me on a normal sleep schedule), take a hot bath, put on some relaxing music and I am out before I know it. Also, meditation really helps me clear my head on those nights when my mind is going in a million different directions. I suggest you take around 100- 200MG of Diphenhydramine, it's over the counter sleep medicine that goes by the name "Bendrayl" You'll get a good night's sleep. Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, Dear Rachel : |
