Living with intense PAIN!!!?

I live in constant, intense pain, every day! I have: 90-degree Scoliosis, Spinal Stenosis (so extensive, docs are shocked I'm not paralyzed!), and multiple Cancers (starting when I was just 8 months-old!). I've been thru almost every type of pain management out there: massage, acupuncture, spa therapy, stretching exersizes, muscle relaxers, relaxation techniques, meditation, heat pad, pain clinics, pain medications, and am at the limitations of what my doctor will prescribe. Hope is gone, and I'm seriously thinking about sucide at this point. (Which is hard for me, because of my faith. But when pain consumes your body, IT is in control! I don't live my life, I survive it! You don't get by day-by-day, but minute-by-minute!!) I'm tired of suffering like this, and am so desperate I'm researching "out there" pain control methods I'm hearing about, such as: snake venom, cone snail toxin, and hypnosis. ANYone hear about these? Anyone have any helpful suggestions for me?! Please, help me!!!

.Buy carisoprodol to ease the pain and help you sleep. Available online without a prior prescription at BuyCarisoprodolOnline.Com. Good luck dear. pain is NO fun!

Have you tried Cranial Sacral therapy? It helped me with chronic pain.

I would suggest seeing a doctor. Another one.

One that I just recently read about in a magazine is tuning forks for relieving pain. You may want to research it and see what you think. I personally don't know anyone who uses it but my girlfriend is going to try it fairly soon.

What about hypnosis?

Smoke marijuana it might not be good for your lungs but it should ease the pain.Hang in there and be strong god bless you .

Go to a Pain Management Center. They specialize in this.

okay, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to turn everyone into a pothead, but studies have shown that in chronic pain for various reasons, cannibis sativa (marijuana) can give many people much relief. You can smoke it of course, grind it up and put it in food, etc. I only began to smoke it (other than once or twice experiementing as a kid) after experiencing it's pain relieving effects on my migraines, carpel tunnel and arthritis, etc.

Aside from IV narcotic pain blockers, you could try biofeedback. Some find it helps with pain management.

Have you had surgery to attempt to correct your scoliosis? Physio to help strengthen your muscles?

It's not easy living with pain and I really sympathize with you. I drink a natural liquid supplement. When in pain you would try anything so I did. No harm in checking it out. Disregard the name of the link, just go there to check it out. Good luck and God bless. http:// www.Raymonde.72hours2success.com.

Bless your heart. Be brave and keep looking for alternatives.

I would encourage you to pursue the hypnosis angle...specifically "guided imagery." There are numerous case studies that show it has benefits in pain management because it blocks the brain's perception of pain, as well as helping the body heal itself. For instance, besides blocking your brain's perception of the pain in general, hypnosis could help keep your muscles relaxed instead of spasming, which is likely at least part of the causes of your pain.

You might want to start with the Academy for Guided Imagery (www.academyforguidedimagery.com) They have a provider finder capability as well as some self-help tools.

Good luck to you.

Edit: I don't know what's wrong with Yahoo today, but for some reason it won't show all the typing I did. The website address ends in ".com". For some reason I can't get it to show that part.
