Should I let this Chinese guy poke me...............?

with his acupuncture needles? Has anyone tried this alternative medicine?

While I don't have any experience with acupuncture, I would advise you to first check the persons' credentials. there are some sham artists out there. At least if they have been certified by some type of board, if you have a problem, there is someone with whom you may lodge a complaint .

Thank you tweetymay. Very good advice. Dr. Zhoa was certified and after one session of acupuncture and massage I am on the 'mend'. Report It

lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes

I heard that it feels great at the time, but doesn't affect the pain long term...just try it. If you don't like it, don't go back!

I tried it and it bloody hurts, never again.

yes, i've tried it. it works perfectly fine. n it doesn't hurt much if that dude got skills.

If you really love him, and he's not using chopsticks and egg rolls, it's your call!

lol....

oh..let him poke ya already...acupuncture has been done for centuries...

Depends where he's going to be poking.

I only tried it the once, it was very strange, but it didn't give any amazing effects. I appreciate how eastern medicine is different, but I'd rather stick to modern medicine any day.

Acupuncture o/k. But if he asks you for a quick 69 tell him you can't start cooking at this time of night. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it works well.. just make sure its only a needle and not his big red-hot poker!! x

As long as it's just his needle and not what comes after number 69 on the menu ! lol

I tried twice, once for my back (a little uncomfortable) and once for my sinuses (very uncomfortable). Neither did any good.

Nope .. its all Bollocks ,,,,, just let him phuck you ( if your female ) ..if your male ....that is up to you mate .... nuff said.

poke away mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES,YES,YES.
I HAVE ACUPUNCTURE FOR MY BACK, AND I CAN NOT PRAISE ENOUGH HOW GREAT IT IS.
THE FIRST TIME YOU MAY FULL ASLEEP AS IT IS SO RELAXING. YOU WILL REALLY NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE.
I SO LOOK FORWARD TO MY SESSIONS.
PLEASE GIVE IT AGO, AND I BET YOU WILL NOT LOOK BACK. IF YOU FEEL A BIT WORRIED,THAT THEM KNOW AT YOUR SESSION,AND THEY WILL REALLY MAKE YOU FEEL AT EASE.
NOW DON'T FORGET GO, HONESTLY YOU WILL REALLY ENJOY IT.

if you really want to and it may help you

it definately works. if you dont like needles you should go to a massage therapist and ask for them to do an acupressure session with you basically the same thing but using finger pressure

yes, alternative medicine is what i was raised by (homeopathy) It has never proved me worng and i am a very healthy person to this day. Go ahead do it

By all means do the acupuncture, I 've been doing it for 3 months, after being hooked on pain medicines for fibromyalgia. You will feel so-o-o-o much better, after a few visits your meridians are flowing and everything stars to feel better.

That is for you to answer ultimately.

Acupuncture is.

It will become increasingly viable as the years ensue. If you would dare take a pharmaceutical prescription as designed here in the USA or Europe, you can assuredly rest with an equally if not more viable form of medical treatment, see?

As often is the case, all things evidence the want to take precaution of course... Certainly is this the case on taking a prescription or using a modality of any kind.

Feels very cool, and can be profoundly relaxing. Useful to get credentials though. Where I am from it is quite tightly regulated(Aus), not sure if this is the case in some other places though. Obviously make sure they use disposible needles-I think you would find this pretty much case everywhere though. I generally felt no pain at all, occasionally you might feel some mild discomfort depending on the area.

I'm very much for it but I'd do a little research on the subject if I were you before making up my mind.
Here are a few links. And do check out this practitioner's credentials before committing.
Good poking!

Listen to Kgirl mate. She knows all about poking......

Yes! I'm sure it's just a little prick!

Yes, as long as he is properly trained and insured. Ask yourself - Have you ever seen a chinese person crippled with arthritis? We have a lot of learn/gain from eastern medicine. Its the western ways that make us ill in the first place.

It is an absolute amazing medicine with no side effects ,but you must have a knowledgeable therapist ! It works even if you don't believe in it ,so don't mock it !
Good luck and good health !
