Your sacrum?

Is that like the lowest part of your spine or back? like above your butt cheeks but not by much.

i have this pain right there. It started the other day & has since gotten worse. Now it seems like it kinda radiates down my leg when i walk.

Is that what that area is called? That wouldnt be a muscle sprain so what would it be?

I have had problems with my back for several years. Mostly muscular I do think. But after getting 2 treatments of acupuncture I have been completely fine up until now, its been about 9 months. But this is a new kind of pain...ive never had it this low before.

THANK YOU & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Sounds a bit like sciatica. A lower back pain that radiates down one side of your rear and down the leg. Here is some information that might help you. Good luck!
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/sciatic...

It sounds like a pinched nerve. The base of the spine has many nerves radiating out to the various areas. Some go to the organs, some to t he extremities. Your pain is radiating to your legs. It could be a sciatic nerve, or another nerve that enervates the lower extremities. You should see a chiropractor or a medical doctor.

Yes, the sacrum is the lowest point of your spine (unless you count the coccyx...or tailbone) and is technically 5 fused vertebrae. As the other participants have mentioned, your pain is characteristic of a "pinched nerve" or at least pain that is originating from the spine. It is very typical for problems in this area to refer pain to the sacro-illiac area. This is definetely not a "muscular" problem, so be sure to follow up with a medical professional.

sounds like pinched nerve..... see a doctor...

feel better

Be Blessed!
