Feet pains and swollening problem?

this is my mom's problem.

she is having a body ache. it is a long problem since 20 yrs.

the problem is:: she calls the problem due to cold that affects the bones and muscle. during cold, her feet get swollen and hands too. it pains her a lot and she is unable to walk properly. the doctors say it is due to cold and water. so avoid contact with water( which is equally impossible ).

treatment tried: well she did a lot throughout her 20yrs period but no solution has come. she did ayurvedic , homeopaethic , even Acupuncture therapy but were useless. blood tests and any sorts of testing like body scan reveals nothing. her blood pressure is normal and has no diabetes.

any help well be highly acknowledged.

I would have to say, elevate her feet in the evenings and as long as she doesn't have CHF - congestive hearrt failure - drink more water to flush out the toxins which are causing her to retain fluid.
