Does anyone know of an altenrative method that helps to cure cancer from Japan - not Reiki - I can't remember

A friend has lukemia and has started attending classes on some kind of altnerative treatment having to do with sticking acupuncture needles in a 'voo doo doll'. Sounds crazy, but supposedly it has a 98% cure rate.

Then your friend is going to die from cancer, just like all the other people who try to cure their cancer using unscientific methods (and the ones who will in future, Laura J I'm thinking of you).

Your friend needs to get proper medical treatment and that means chemotherapy.

The only hope your friend really has is that the cancer was misdiagnosed which is likely if a quack diagnosed it (though unlikely if it were diagnosed by a real doctor).

Most of the people who claim to have been cured of cancer by alternative medicine probably never even had the disease in the first place (and most of the others used 'complimentary' medicine and are giving the credit to the wrong thing).

I don't think I'd want to argue with a method that's been perfected and utliized for thousands of years. I haven't heard of that, but I would recommend your friend consider the Macrobiotic Diet. I have a recipe book by Christina Pirello who was cured of leukemia by eating a Macrobiotic Diet.
