Left Shoulder Pain. HELP!!?

A little over a year ago. I was beaten up by a mob of guys. Aside from bruises and cuts, I have a funny feeling on my left shoulder... Prior to this, I was actively in the gym, lifting heavy weights and in excellent shape...A year later, I would like to get back in shape but A PAIN in my left shoulder would prevent me from doing so. For instance, MY body is able to lift 15 reps, however I get a funny feeling (sort of like a pinch) on my shoulder thats bothering me.. This really sucks because I KNOW I COULD Move forward but this stupid pain is holding me BACK.
I've seeked helped from a doctor, he insisted it was nothing serious (not dislocated) and I take a break from working out (I've stopped for 1 year now)
I even tried acupuncture, this couldnt determine the problem.

I feel the pain if i do exercises that involves the push (Bench press, Shoulder press, pushup)
Anybody know what could be the solution to this mess? Its very unfortunate Im not able to reach my peak.

Have you done any X-Rays, CT Scans, or other forms of scanning in your body?

It couldn't be dislocated as you said, if it was, it wouldn't be able to move at all.

Although I might not be able to determine the exact problem like you doctor I could eliminate some choices.

It could not be nerve damage since you said it hurts when you apply the push force.

Could you explain what happened during the fight? Was there extreme damage dealt onto your left shoulder?

get an mri done, you might have a rotator cuff tear

have you put heat on it/or something for the joints

Hey friend, I'm having the same pain as yours. Now going for Chinese massage twice a week with medication. Dont seem to relieve pain. I wish, someone could give advise.
