What's a way to heal a cut that refuses to heal?

A year ago I cut myself shaving in two places. One healed but the other small one hasn't yet. I take a multivitamin and lots of herbs. I don't drink, smoke and eat almost no junk food at all. I work out, try to get enough sleep and keep my stress down as much as possible. I know that the mind and body are connected. So aside from all these things, what else can I do to heal this? My chiropractor who also does acupuncture say to continue as I am. So why isn't this healing? Any suggestions?

First off, the chiropractor fixes your back, not your medical condition. The sore you have sounds almost like a diabetic sore. Or worse, not to scare you, but you need to see a Doctor. A year with no healing is a huge issue.

Good luck

um................i really have no idea try asking your mom or your docor they might no well good luck!!!!!!!!!! hope it heals. well yea have fun .............................

Going from the simplest to the serious.
Depending on the location; any crease or area where the skin is continually flexed or stretched will have a slow heal rate, as well as repetitive rubbing (or in this case shaving) the developing scab off. Avoid the area as much as possible, add a healing agent as Neosporin and air dry.
Get your blood checked for deficient clotting agents in the blood stream. Granted you are trying to maintain a healthy environment for your good health but that also may be too much of a good thing. Don't want to find yourself a diabetic.

Try Melaleuca oil. It's an anti-inflammatory as well as a disinfectant, and it's natural!

Also you should think about going to see a doctor and make sure you don't have a staph infection because that keeps wounds from healing as well.

could be a staph infection like MRSA........you usually get that in hospitals but it can sometimes slow down the healing of wounds. you could check out Elicina it's a cream that works wonders for scars and has antibiotic elements to it.

I think peroxide is the best way
