Strange ways to quit smoking :)? |
I've been smoking since I was 15 and have finally decided to quit. No, for real this time!! One of my college lectures once told us that they way she quit smoking was to change the habit. As smoking is more a habit than addiction. Her solution? Every time she felt like a smoke, she did something she hated doing. Be it cleaning the toilet, doing the dishes or simply doing a few sit-ups. The theory behind it? Your brain will realize that every time is wants something, you do something it hates doing, so it will stop wanting it. :) She hasn't smoked in 5yrs. Eating fruits when you feel like smoking and it works for my friend. But i wonder did he really carry a huge container full of fruits everywhere. eating fruits is effective too but also minimize hanging out with smokers. the more you hang out with smokers the more you will be tempted to smoke. force yourself to jog or do some intense cardio-vascular exercise every day |
