My right arm hurts so bad especially in the morning. is that arhritis? am 56 yrs.old.?

i go for acupunctures lately, sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't.

Instead of asking for a diagnosis from kids and others with no medical background, please see your doctor.

I would never presume to diagnose. Only a doctor is qualified to do that and he wouldn't do it without examining you first. Don't suffer needlessly, please see your doctor.

Depends on the location exactly.

Acupuncture only treats the pain, not the underlying cause.

arthritis affects the joints. Is it the joint of the arm that hurts--the shoulder or the elbow?

It really is not a good idea to try to get diagnosed over the internet. It could be anything from just sleeping on it wrong to bone cancer, or a million things in between.

We are not doctors.

Pain is your body's way of telling you something. I think yours is telling you something is wrong. You should go to see a doctor.

Most likely it's a pinched nerve,or an old hairline fracture. Get an X-ray done and be careful with the acupuncture treatments.

1st you should ask your doctor. take x rays perhaps . in which it will diagnose arthritis and other injuries. I guess you have strained your arm by doing hard work. probably you are a carpenter. machinery operator. gardener etc. a work that puts pressure on the arm will result with this kind of pain. take care of your health and ask your doctor. rub metholatum on the hurting area.
