TENS and acupuncture in childbirth?

I have a very low pain tolerence and have had two very painful births. I am due in 18weeks and was wondering if anyone has any experience with TENS or acupuncture in labour. I had acupuncture for morning sickness very effective. Wondering where the needles are placed for acupunture and how TENS acually works. I find labour really daunting as the pain is icredibly unbearable with gas and pethidine.

I also have really bad scoliosis which makes for a bad labour

a TENS unit just puts low level shocks to break up the pain signals. I have CRPS (chronic pain condition) and I've never seen relief from a TENS until. Try an epidural.

I don't know about TENS, but my sister had acupuncture and I tell her she cheated. She didn't have any pain until the actual delivery and then it was minimal.

Why don't you ask your Dr for a pre planned C-Section then?
