Can Acupuncture Really Heal?

I am desperate for some help and am wondering if acupuncture could be the solution. I have severe anxiety daily, sleep problems, stomach issues and eye problems. I need help and was wondering if anyone has success stories of acupuncture healing their ailments. I'm really concerned about my stomach and want to get rid of this nauseous feeling once and for all. Can this help? Any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks!

thank you so much for the info, i really appreciate your time and feedback!

I've had it done to me numerous times with amazing results. I highly recommend it. You have to find someone properly trained, experienced and licensed. The retired doctor I go was the first one to practice in Atlanta more than 30 years ago. The needles hooked up to the vibrating thingamajig work wonders!

I've got a lower back injury treated after a basketball injury. Then an ellbow flared up on me not too long ago after I tweaked it at work and the swelling and pain went away almost immediately. I got the bloodletting done on that. And I finally got it on my bad knee (football) and it hasn't acted up since.

The needles you barely feel. My gf who is deathly afraid of needles (to the point of getting nauseous and passing out while getting shots) barely flinched. And even after the initial prick she didn't mind the needles in her back and neck area for almost 30 minutes because she could hardly feel them.

I'll be going in to try and get rid of spring/summer allergies sometime soon. As for your conditions, here's a list of ailments/conditions acupuncture can possibly cure or lessen.

Best of luck to ya!

Yes, if done properly

I am an acupuncturist and have successfully treated many cases of persistent nausea, including morning sickness. It's also especially helpful for insomnia and anxiety. It is even more effective when combined with Chinese herbs, so as you're looking around for an acupuncturist, make sure they're licensed in your state or province and ask if they use herbs.

If you're in the US, most states have a licensing board you can call or google to verify the license. You can find a good start on a list at www.acufinder.com with just your zip code.
There us a US national certification commission at www.nccaom.org which will give you more names; however each state licenses separately so national certification does NOT mean they're licensed to practice in your state.
