Has anyone had an Acoustic Neuroma? |
And if they have, what kind of treatment did they have? Or do they know of anyone who has had treatment for an Acoustic Neuroma. I know what an Acoustic Neuroma is but I have not been able to find out from anyone who has had treatment and what the outcome entailed. An acoustic neuroma is a benign (noncancerous) brain tumor that starts in the cells that wrap around the auditory (hearing) nerve in the head. These tumors may grow on one or both sides of the brain. Acoustic neuromas account for about seven percent of all brain tumors. |
