What is the audiological pattern of acoustic neuroma? An acoustic neuroma is a Schwann cell鈥揹erived tumor of the 8th cranial nerve. Symptoms include unilateral hearing loss. Diagnosis is based on audiology and confirmed by MRI. Treatment is surgical removal. |
