Acne scars...and acne...terrible case...pretty please help???

Ok well I'm asking this question again cuz I've tried all the other ideas for long enough. Here's my story: I've never had horrible acne, it's been bad though; I got married, started taking birth control for only three months, got horrific acne, after I stopped taking the pills the horrible acne went away but I have smooth red scars on my cheeks. Mostly I reeeally want these gone. And now I've broken out majorly again for the past weeks. Only thing I can think of is stress. I've tried proActive, salicylic acic, benzol...something, I've tried just water, I've tried moisturizing, I've tried astringent, I've tried being really gentle, but it just won't go away! The scars or the acne! Mostly I'd like to scars gone but can't afford any laser procedures or chemical masks. Anything I can buy at the store?? Thanks.

The red marks will take time to fade. Glycolic acid and Lactic acid are helpful in fading red marks. You can get any strength for a relatively low price online. Platinum skin care is a good site. You might want to go to www.skinbiology.com and read the forum there. It is a very helpful resource. Azelex (Rx needed) is wonderful for acne and marks. Also, I think proactive makes a lightening cream you might try. I would encourage you to stay away from lasers. If it makes you feel any better, you don't really have scarring. They will eventually go away and your skin will be beautiful. Good Luck.

try cutting your head off or something

Try using cocoa butter on them everyday. Its not fast but it will work.

Exfoliate your face with a skin brush everyday before you get in the shower. This gets rid of old dead skin cells clogging your pores and helps renew your skin. It makes your skin really soft and improves discoloration. Don't brush too hard though - especially on your face. Be gentle.

hi....vitamin E cream is really helpful for acne scarring as it helps repair the damaged skin..you might want to go on Yasmin( the pill) that did wonders for my previous acne, and the product I use for my skin skin now is Pevonia its a clinicall line.I suggest not to buy any products from supermarkets and chemists as they tend to only stay on the surface of your skin whereas clinical skin care lines really get in the dermal layering.hope that helps
