Acne dryg dependence?

okay, so about 1 year ago i began taking theantibiotic minocycline for acne on my face. when the prescription ran out, i felt like my acne was under control and i didnt need the meds anymore. about 5 days later, a rash broke out on my chest. So, i went to the doc, and he told me that my acne was simply returning. But i said, doc, this never happened to me before-i never had acne on my body. Well, he told me to continue on the medicine, whihc i did, and it cleared up. Now, i've run out again, but this time serious acne has erupted on my chest, shoulders, and back. Like i said, this never happened before, not in the slightest. I fervently taking the meds again, but it makes me wonder if its really that wise.

You are not drug dependence, your body needs this to fight you acne problem. Apparently you need it for your acne. The worst case is you developed a resistance to it and maybe to other antibiotics. If you become ill, just tell your doctor that you have been taking whatever drug it is and for how long and what has changed. He will know what drug to prescribe to you. There are different antibiotics for different illness.
