I was wondering if differin acne medicine really works?!?!?

So i went to the doctor and got perscribed differin and i was wondering if it really works

it didnt work for me.

i have never tried that, but pro active is a miracle...it works fantastic...i have tried noxema and some others....but try to get pro active..its like 30$ a month...if you can ask your parents to help you

If you got perscribed a medication for acne by your doctor, it's going to most likely work. Just takes a while. Trust me. ;) (I used to have acne on my neck, for an entire summer, I had to put two different types of medication in the morning and evening. But hey, it worked!)

Differin is an excellent medication but it doesn't mean that it will work for you. Try it out for at least 2 months, if it doesn't seem to be helping than ask the doc to prescribe you something different. Differin works pretty slow but once it kicks in, it is great. It is used for more of the 'whitehead' kind of acne which is pretty hard to make clear so keep in mind that it may take loger than some meds.

I have used Differin for my acne and I was pleased. Nothing cures my acne, but the differin was a great topical treatment. It didn't irritate my skin as bad as Retin-A with the same amount of results. I found the Differin did a GREAT job with acne on my neck, chest, back, etc. I even used Differin if I got shaving bumps and it would clear them with one treatment.

Keep in mind you will need to use it regularly for weeks before you notice a big improvement. Good Luck!

Yes, differin works but it is slow. Another way to get rid of acne is taking a bath in hot water with epsom salt and vinegar daily. You should clear up in a few days.

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/... that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

No. Prescription med. never really worked for my brother. He used Clearasil Ultra and its works a lot better than prescription med. and ProActiv.
