Does Minocycline get rid of acne scars and red marks as well?

I have actually taken that medicine before and it helped but i had to go to the hospital because it was causing side affects if you do have a prescription for it i advise you to read the side affects part because i had a raise in my skin that was from taking the medication and it gave me real bad pains in my side and caused shortness of breath so if you experience that i really advise you to stop use. I'm not trying to scare you at all but i just don't want to see anybody get hurt. It didn't cause any bad things to my organs or anything and once i stopped using it i felt alot better. God bless.

No, it is only for the active acne pustules. It will not help with scars.

As far as I know it was never made to handle scars, but Vitamin E oil used daily will heal the scars. If they are still pink or purple it means the body is still working on them and they will heal faster and fad with the oil. If they are not it will still work it will just take longer.

I had a scar that was still purple and tinder after about 2 years the went white within 2 weeks after starting the Vitamin E on it. Now you can hardly see it. If I had continued longer I it may not have a scar at all, but mine is on my foot, so I stopped when it looked and felt fine.
