Does eating cucumbers really prevent acne?

or is it just a rumor...

It depends on the cause of the acne. Acne can actually be caused/worsened by different things like dirt or grease or oil or dryness or hormones. Although there is a debate on about whether food has an impact, it is thought that for some people junk foods can worsen acne, and of course any fresh fruit and vegetables are good for you and could help with acne. But I don't think that's true about cucumbers preventing all acne, no. I've never heard of it or seen evidence, and I was a huge cucumber eater a couple of years ago and still had some spots.

of course, it's a fresh veggy, fresh fruit helps too, eat 2 types of veggies every night for 2 weeks with dinner, keep face washed often, the results are amazing. then just keep eating fresh veggies and fruit every day.
