Head & shoulder shampoo works 4 acne?

my doctor said to try it and leave it on mi face b4 i shower 4 bout 3ominutes..i really want to kno if it works... i need mi face cleared up quick cuz of prom..any suggestions???? thanks much love <3

The regular formula Head & Shoulders shampoo is not the one your Dermatologist is referring to. The one that is supposed to help in the treatment of acne is the formula which contains Selenium Sulfide. The bottle is a dark blue and the shampoo is orange in color. The reason he recommended this is because sometimes an oily, itchy, scalp can be one of the causes of acne. This shampoo really soothes the scalp, eliminates all the itchiness, and does help overall in the treatment of facial and back acne. Use it everytime you shampoo your hair. Try it out, it helped me. no head and shoulders is for your HAIR.... you shouldnt use anything that isnt FDA approved for applying to the face.... you should try aloe vera and you can get clean and clear or pro acne off brand is CHEAPER and works just as well acne free found at any of your local walmart stores..

No!!! dont do this. I cant beleive ur doc gave this kinda advise. Its for ur hair and it is medicated to remove dandruff only. Ur acne is caused due to bacteria....for which u should use some kinda anti-bacterial facewash.

honestly few weeks ago someone told me it works but really if you got pimples that are bumpy, try murad acne system. Take my word for it man im 17 and i jus started to use a week ago and all my bumps went away and my skin is soft and flat but still got acne spots which will go away after a while of using this product. Full results come in about 4 to 8 weeks but i already see minor results and make your red spots pink and sooner or later gone. Works Wonders.
