Does chlorine in pools effect acne.?

my face looks fresher.

Much acne is caused by bacteria. The chlorine in the water might kill off a great number of the acne causeing bacteria, but also, the sun with it's UV rays kills a lot too.

Yes, I would think chlorine's antiseptic properties would help you.

I don't know if its the chlorine but yes acne gets better if you swim in a pool. I remember mine would dry up really well but after a few days every thing was back to "normal"

Well I am not really sure about it but when i swim in a pool even if my acne when i don't swim in a pool is "disappeared" when i swim it gets worse...But on the contrary,when i swim in the sea the days when for exemple i eat chocolate and food like that which are not good and do not help you to treat acne,my face looks "refreshed".....Hope I helped you!

Its probably from the sun, the sun helps with acne more than chlorine. So its probably a combo of both
