Can you take tagemnet or antacid with fentanyl?

i take 100mcg/h fentanyl patch and have been getting acid reflux and indigeston and cant find anywhere if its ok to take tagement over counter or antacids

It should be okay, but I would contact my doctor. If you are on the patch that means you are in a lot of uncontrollable pain and the doctor would want to make sure not to worsen your pain. He could probably prescribe something for you. No point in adding to the pain.

Some antacids do have drug interaction issues and you'll need to watch that. Others may cause constipation. Some antacids will have side effects such as constipation or the exact opposite. Some contain aspirin too..which you might need to be careful about.

I would though, consult your doctor first.
