Regurgitation and the Birth Control Pill...? |
I know that if you vomit within 2 hours of taking your pill it is consider missed but what if I had regurgitation (due to acid reflux)...would this affect the pill? After I burp I feel that some liquid or food rises up...so even if I swallow it back down is still considered 'vomiting' and a reason to consider a pill missed if it happened soon after I took it? If you're vomiting that much, you need to see a doctor. Unless you don't spit it out, then it's still inside you so it wouldn't be considered missed. No not if you swallow it, to call it vomit you have to expel it. |
