Yesterday I had the hiccups like 7 or 10 times in one day, and today I have a terrible heartburn? |
I take Aciphex everyday for my indigestion problems, like acid reflux, yesterday I didn't take it in the morning like I usually do, but I took it at night. Before that I had already had hiccups like 4 or 5 times, and even after taking the Aciphex I had it like 2 or 3 times more, very frequently. What could it be? Hiccups may or may not be related to your reflux, but definitely could make it worse. If this was an isolated incident, I doubt it represents a significant problem. However, if this is a recurring problem you definitely need to get checked out by a doctor who treats these kind of problems regularly, a general surgeon or gastroenterologist. |
