Is it common for 15 year olds to get stomach ulcers?

I am a freshman in high school and I believe for the past few years, I have been under so much stress that I have developed an ulcer in my stomach that seems to keep getting worse. My doctor says it is just my acid reflux acting up but I believe I have it worse. Can anyone give me some info on symptoms of stomach ulcers?

My youngest daughter had her first ulcer when she was 12. All her own fault really, there was no undue pressure at home to cause this. In fact she continued to have problems with ulcers, sometimes bleeding, until she moved back home with me last year. Now they've finally gone away. (She's 28)

If your doctor says it's acid reflux, it probably is. Ulcer pain is excruciating...somewhat along the line of being stuck in the side with a hot poker that some 300 lb sadist is leaning on and twisting. And this happens every time you eat something that requires bile to break down. So while small amounts of milk and toast would be soothing, any meat or fried foods or cheese would cause the pain.
