I can't burp. Does anyone have the same problem?

I've never burped in my entire life, that I can recall. I have horrible acid reflux and will become real bloated after a big meal. I was just wondering if anyone out there has the same problem and if you do, what do you do to help yourself.

I've never really heard of that problem before...though I'm sure it exists and I'm sure it can be quite painful. I wish I knew some magic potion that'd I could recommend...you should probably see a doctor for recommendations or maybe a pharmacist...they usually know what their talking about and it beats the time and money spent on a doctor's visit :-)

I would just try to force it, take some bloating med, tht might help. sorry i dont know what to tell you. if you have never done it in your life then probably your epiglottis is sealed and wont allow you to do so.

I feel sorry for you - I have had this problem on occasion and suffered because of it. I found other than drinking carbonated water, that a tea spoon of baking soda in water will bring up the gas and cut the acid in the stomach. But you really should see a doctor about your condition, they have medications for this problem.

My sister has the problem she drinks sprite.If you have acid reflux you need to watch the acid intake ther is also med for this talk to your doc about this.
