Burning throat? |
when i was pg 4 yrs ago i woke up one morning with my throat hurting and buring very badly and to this day it still hurts and burns real bad.i have been to 3 or 4 different throat specialist and they have all done an endescope and said my throat has damage caused by acid reflux.but it has been 4 yrs this has been going on.they say no throat cancer but why would my throat hurt and burn for 4 yrs staraight?one tonsil always feel sore to but they say my tonsil is fine.one dr even said he seen nothing wrong and said it might all be in my head but it is not in my head,i feel the pain everyday.sometimes it hurts when i swallow.and it is just on one side.always just been on one side.im so confused and scared because i am not understanding my problem.i have tried all sorts of medicine but nothing really worked.please can anyone relate? It is not strep and not a cold.it has been going on for 4yrs and i have been to 3-4 throat specialist and they all say the same thing,damage caused by acid reflux. Have they put you on Nexium? My cousin had this same issue. Her esophagus was eroded due to acid reflux. Once she got on Nexium, her throat pain went away within a month or so. The pill is designed to actually heal the issue. Definitely call your Dr. because they should have gotten you on this! Go see your Dr. there has to be something wrong. sounds like strep I had that. It hurts like heck!!
