Any of you lost weight on low carb WOL?


I recently read the atkins induction and it seems a little excessive to restrict to 20g for 2 weeks. I know I can probably do it but I was wondering if any of you lost weight just cutting off bread, pasta, sweets, fruits and rice?

I am on my 5th day of eating this way without doing induction and I feel 100% better, no acid reflux, feel alot lighter, no more pain when i am getting up.

Any of you successful without doing the induction? just curious.

p.s. For all Atkins bashers, read your facts straight! he did nto die of a heart attack and he was not fat.

I did Atkins WITH induction, it worked great for me.

But some people do what you are suggesting, and many of them find that they lose weight too, or at least are healthier.
