Does anyone have suggestions for chronic halitosis????

i have acid reflux disease, and that is supposed to be a symptom!!! i also have chronic upset stomach, and gall bladder stones!!!
anyway, i've tried everything!!! all kinds of toothpaste, mouthwash, mints, gum, toungue brushing!!! or scraping, whatever they call it!!! is there anything that can be done about it??? certain foods??? i heard somewhere that chewing on rubber bands helps????
i'll take anything that you've got!!! but, no rude answers, please; or, i might spam you!!!!

There is a hydrogen peroxide based liquid designed to pre-wash your teeth that helps. It is marketed as a 'teeth whitening' product. Use it by swishing it around your mouth for a couple of minutes and then spitting it out before you brush. Also, I've found the Listermint breath strips to be very effective, though somewhat short lived.

Neither will have any impact on your acid reflux disease that I am aware of, and since acid reflux is the apparent root cause of the halitosis problem, then acid reflux is what must be effectively treated in order to eradicate the real cause.

With gal bladder stones and the stomach problems you are having have you considered that maybe you need to find a way to relieve the stress that is likely causing much of this. Meditate and/or pray. Take long relaxing baths. Consider a massage. Be sure to get some form of physical exercise, eat a balanced diet and get the rest your body needs. Sometimes sleep is a 'wonder drug'.

Good luck to you in your efforts to heal your body.

After all that, the only thing I can think of is a dietary change.

Since you already know that your bad breath doesn't come from your mouth but from your acid reflux, then best to cure your acid reflux so that you can end your bad breath. Ask your doctor for some possible medication you can try, or you can try these tips for the meantime at http://www.themouthdoctor.com/badbreath/... . I hope they help, but i really think you should ask a professional for this.
