Chest, arm pain, and shortness of breath magnified extremely by marijuana.?

I have been experiencing chest and left arm pain as well as left arm numbeness. I've been waking up in the middle of the night with my left arm totally numb and asleep. If i smoke a joint my chest starts to hurt and my heart beats fast and it gets hard to breath. I've gone for many tests with a cardilogist and they say my heart is in great shape and there is nothing wrong. My doctor told me though that my body is telling me it cant handle marijuana anymore, than put me on pariet, a drug they treat acid reflux. Just hoping somebody educated might have an opinion on this. Thank-you.

It might be that the two sets of symptoms aren't actually related. Numbness and tingling in your arms, especially during the night, is a key symptom of carpel tunnel syndrome where fluid gets trapped travelling between your wrist and forearm. When it's just in one arm, it can be an indication that you have a cervical (spare) rib too. Maybe ask your doctor to consider these if you kick the pot and still have this problem?

I'd agree with your GP that the pot has become too much for your body - that's why your chest is seizing up when you try and smoke it, it doesn't want it. I had intolerance problems with cigarettes before I quit so I'm afraid what he says is probably true.
