I am having pain in my upper back by my neck area and my head it throbs and my shoulders feel heavy.?

I am scared to go to the doctor about my pain. Afraid of what they might say. I am also having alot of acid reflux. Could that be the cause of the pain in my back? Scared in Brooklyn

If you are the type of person who is scared of going to the doctor I am sure you are also afraid of what could be wrong. Please go see a doctor and have what is going on evaluated. It could be nothing more than a pinced nerve. Stress can cause that and the reflux you are having. I am not a doctor and you definatly need to be able to ease your mind by getting an answer.

please go. Take care of yourself.

go to a chiropracter, your neck just needs to be cracked and realigned.

It sounds like you have a stiff neck with at least one nerve pinched. Try taking an anti-inflamatory such as Advil or Aleve and try heat on your neck to help loosen things up. And most definately see a doctor to rule out anything serious.

Good luck!
