Does anybody else suffer from chronic throat problems?

does anyone have a chronic throat condition?i have one due to acid reflux and my throat burns and hurts constantly for the past 4 yrs.i smoke but im trying to stop,but it is hard to stop when others in your house smoke.i have seen 4 throat specialst in the past 4 yrs and no sign of throat cancer but my dad died of throat cancer and that makes me even more scared.i just need to see if i can find anyone who has anything similar to what is wrong with me.
