Has anyone ever heard of this? |
i have this condition where i am constantly burping to relieve pressure built up in my stomach. its always accompanied by acid reflux or sour stomach. and when i say constantly burping that is what i mean. has any one heard of this or experienced it. its been going on for a little over two years now. its not heart burn or bad indegestion. ive been to the doctor for both and they gave me something called nexium to help releive it. any thoughts of rememdy's that any of you out there with experience with this can help me with? thanks My wife told me it might have something to do wiht a stomach fungus called H. pylori (dont know the spelling) and that its a fungus that usually resides in the stomach that is only cured by strong atibiotics. but ive never heard of this. i have heard of gerd though. has any one else head of GERD? Lactose intolerance will generally produce constant belching, burping, gassiness, bloating and indigestion and wet f*arting (sorry, no other way to say it)......... before i realised that i was lactose intolerant i used to have a horrible time with the belching and acid reflux coming back up my throat, particularly when i laid flat on the bed to go to sleep at night. Simply put, you need to eliminate all lactose containing foods and ingredients from your diet for a week and see if this improves your condition....... please ensure that you increase your intake of calcium rich foods to maintain healthy bones, teeth, digestion and neural functioning though. ie: leafy and green vegies, salmon, sardines, peanuts, walnuts and sunflower seeds. also ensure that you are getting enough vitamin D on a daily basis ie: tuna, salmon or just plain old sunshine, as calcium needs sufficient supplies of vitamin D in the body to be properly assimilated (absorbed). Source(s):naturopath in training try to change your diet ,no sugar ,no meat ,no fermented cheese and no acid fruit.Drink chamomille tea I know it iis bad but it helps.Try cereals, nuts, bananas, sees,do this only for 2 weeks see if you feel better. i get that too...but usually if i have over indulged in chocolate or fresh cream...so i try to avoid the foods that i think are causing it. apparently, this is a very common thing. I've been having the same problem the last few months. I have been taking Pepcid Ac and that seems to help. I haven't seen a Doctor so I don't know the cause. Yeah, probably acid reflux disease. It can lead to ulcers on the esophagus, which my husband has. He was also prescribed Nexium, but I was told my insurance didn't cover it and a 30-day supply would cost me $180. I wondered if it was made with gold to cost $6. for a little pill. Have you been checked for a Hiatal Hernia? This is when the opening to your stomach is too big. Depending on your eating and breathing habits, more air could be entering your stomach plus more acid gets out into your esophagus. |
