What are the symptoms of Endometriosis?

My period is still not showing up and I had severe stomach pain last night and some mild lower back pain. I went to the hospital and was tested but they said I didn't have anything just
Acid Reflux. What the hell could be going on with my body?
I'm not pregnant or anything, they gave me a urine test.

please don't report hell, I am just really freaking out.

Did they give you the medicine for acid reflux? If you're absolutely sure you're not pregnant, you could take it and see whether your symptoms ease. If they don't, it should rule out reflux. (Reflux and ulcers can cause pain that refers to the back, even.) It's available over the counter: Start with zantac, then move to prilosec if zantac doesn't work. You should feel the pain ease within 45 minutes.

Also, what I can't remember is whether a tubal pregnancy will always show up on a pregnancy test. If the pain continues, I would ask for an ultrasound, on the off chance that could be going on.

It's possible--even likely--two different things are going on: something oddly hormonal with your period, and reflux as well.

Endometriosis is associated with severe pain, especially around the time of menstruation. Low back pain can also be a symptom as well as irregular periods. You should see a gynocologist. It might be helpful to start a pain diary, listing what time you had pain, for how long, 0-10 scale of severity, etc.

It may be an endometriosis, indeed. You need an ultrasound of your intestines and the pelvic area.

Endometriosis is EXTREAMLY painful - it is caused when woman tissue grows in the wrong palce and causes scarring and pain inside you
However, the most common symptoms include:

* painful periods,
* heavy periods,
* pelvic pain,
* pain during sexual intercourse,
* bleeding in between periods,
* subfertility (difficulty in becoming pregnant) or infertility, and
* low backache.

Other symptoms may include:

* difficulty or discomfort when urinating,
* bleeding from your back passage (rectum),
* bowel blockage (if the endometrial tissue is in the intestines), and
* coughing blood (if the endometrial tissue is in the lung).

How severe the symptoms are depends largely on where the endometriosis is within your body, rather than the amount of endometriosis you have. A small amount of the condition may be just as, or even more, painful than a large amount.

i doubt thats what you have but it is possable - it could just be bad period pains! stomach and back is where u get normal period pains or it could be acid reflux as the DOCTORS said!
