Hi been coughing for two years now has anyone got silent reflux and what treatment you are having?

doctors think it is stomach acid that is irritating the throat

Have you been given any thing to reduce your stomach acid? Ranitidine was prescribed for me.

I eat early, drink warm milk if I have to have something before bed and sleep either upright or on my stomach(this seems to help). I avoid alcohol, anything spicy and anything else that irritates the stomach.
